The Maltese Falcon was one of the few pioneers of the film noir genre in classic Hollywood.

Starring Humphrey Bogart as the male lead, the film features Sam Spade, a Private Investigator who gets stuck in a conspiracy to discover the Maltese Falcon,
a gift received by the Spanish Conquistadors. Even though this riveting storyline received a sequel in The Black Bird (1975) featuring Sam Spade Jr., the later production
did not serve justice to the original classic.

The 39 Steps (1935):

The Maltese Falcon, The 39 Steps, Citizen Kane and Back To The Future best classic movies.

Based on the novel of the same name, The 39 Steps is one of the foremost productions of the renowned director, Alfred Hitchcock. Directed by the King of Suspense,
the plot centers on a man who gets caught up in a spy organization that is attempting to steal British intelligence during WWI.
Even though the classic itself did not earn much fame in its time, a well-deserved sequel that doubles as a spy thriller can give just the heart-pounding
screenplay that it needs.

Back To The Future (1985):

If you’re listing the best sci-fi productions made in Hollywood cinema, Back To The Future tops the list.

The Maltese Falcon, The 39 Steps, Citizen Kane and Back To The Future best classic movies.

Made in the 80’s, this film features a high school student, Marty McFly who hijacks a time machine made by his scientist colleague Dr Emmett L. Brown and is transported 30 years in the past.

Due to its exceptional plot lines and remarkable reception at the Box Office, this movie received two sequels in 1989 and 1990. While one focused on time transportation to the future in 2015, the other focused on sending Marty back to 1885.

Seeing the fame this film received, audiences are waiting for Robert Zemeckis to release a verdict on the next sequel!

Citizen Kane (1941):

The Maltese Falcon, The 39 Steps, Citizen Kane and Back To The Future best classic movies.

Ever since the release of this timeless classic, several speculations have been made about Orson Welle’s production: of Citizen Kane in the past 78 years. This story—a tycoon who turned into a politician and then became a social recluse—
is vowed to never detach itself from the best memories of the silver screen.

The producer stars himself as Charles Foster Kane and renders the story into a production replete with elements
of honor, humility, grandeur, and simplicity.

Viewers have observed a startling similarity between the character of Kane and the real-life figure William Randolph. The allegedly impersonated personality responded aggressively to this release.

While the movie requires no changes or additions, it surely can be remade in modern taste for contemporary audiences.
