This delightful comedy/drama starring Rex Harrison is a must have for any who is a fan of quality comedy-dramas.
Plot: To get background for a new book, author Charles and his second wife Ruth light-heartedly arrange for local mystic Madame Arcati to give a séance. The unfortunate result is that Charles' first wife Elvira returns from beyond the grave to make his life something of a misery. Ruth too gets increasingly irritated with her supernatural rival, but M.Arcati is at her wit's end as to how to sort things out.

I am beyond thrilled with my movie Blithe Spirit that I ordered from Classic Movies Etc. I have spent hours trying to find a copy of this film and finally found it on CME.I watched it this morning at it made my day. I will definitely be buying more films from ClassicMoviesEtc.

I really like this movie, saw it by accident on TV one nite, and had to have it.....it's really interesting, funny, and well done....i recommend this movie highly

Some of the conversations were too rapid to really understand but most were fine. The ending is appropriate once you get to know the star's personality. This site is wonderful for us old movie buffs.

I just ordered this movie last week Sat. Aug. 16, in the late morning, and received it on Thurs. morning, Aug. 21. It was a gift for my mother, who has loved, and wanted, this movie forever; everywhere I looked it said "out of print" etc., etc., and when I found your site I was so thrilled! Mom watched her movie this afternoon, Aug. 23, and it played beautifully and she is so thrilled with it. You have an absolutely outstanding site and excellent service, and being able to find the movie I never thought I would brought unspeakable joy to me and my Mom! I'm telling my family and friends about your site. Thank You for Everything!

The DVD I received was of the best quality I could have hoped for and was much better than I expected. The quality was even better than many DVD's I have purchased from standard Brick & Mortar stores.
